Two Faricy Ford Stores, One Family

Worth being clear about, since the names are similar. Salida and Cañon City are separate Ford stores with their own inventory and their own service departments. Buy in one and you can have it serviced at either. For most of Chaffee County, Salida is the closer of the two by a wide margin; for Fremont County it is the other way round.

Ford warranty and recall work is done in the shared service department by Ford-trained technicians, with Motorcraft parts at the counter.

What we deal with most in this valley: cooling and transmission temperature on trucks towing over the passes, brake service on vehicles that descend loaded, and undercarriage corrosion from winter mag chloride on US-50 and US-285. An underbody wash in late winter is one of the cheapest things you can do for a truck you plan to keep.
